Some people are more sensitive to sodium (salt) than others. The sodium that is present in salt maybe considered the number one cause of hypertension. Those countries with low salt consumption such as Papua New Guinea, Eskimos in Alaska, USA, Solomon Island tribes, and Australian aborigines have submitted no incidence of high blood pressure.

Northern Japanese farmers usually preserve their food with salt and eat an average of 30 grams of salt per day. Sixty percent of these farmers have hypertension as strokes are the most common cause death in this tribe.

This is not meant to get rid of salt from the diet though. Salt is important to our health, but our body need measly amount of it about 0.2 grams of sodium per day is already sufficient more than that is unhealthy already. Moreover this will require a higher blood pressure to circulate blood through them. Most obese individuals are usually five times more likely to have hypertension. Take note that people more than 20 percent overweight is considere4d to be suffering from obesity.

4. Estrogen, which is a female hormone common found in birth control pills are usually given for women who are bound for menopause, initiates body to keep salt, and has the similar effect as consuming too much salt.

This article truly did turn the light on for me personally as far as this particular issue goes. Nonetheless there is 1 point I am not really too comfortable with and while I make an effort to reconcile that with the actual main theme of the issue, permit me see just what the rest of the visitors have to point out.Nicely done.
